PITTSBURGH (GSM) – Running backs Travon McMillian (Rookie, Colorado) and veteran James Conner are among a crowded field of Steelers active roster participants.

On a sunny, moderately warm day in Pittsburgh, Conner shares pointers during practice and extends the hand of wisdom to the 1st-year man. The chances of McMillian making the team are slim as there are Conner, Jaylen Samuels, Benny Snell Jr., Trey Edmunds and Malik Williams filling roster spots at the moment.

Steelers Photo of the Season

OAKLAND, CA (GSM) – In a, “not-so-happy” new year, the Pittsburgh Steelers ended the 2018 season with a 9-6 record. Although they had more wins than losses , Pittsburgh missed the playoffs when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns and secured the 6th seed in the AFC.

This year’s “Photo of the Season” is JuJu Smith-Shuster’s tiptoe touchdown in Oakland against the Raiders on December 9th, 2019. In a losing effort against one of the Steelers’ long standing rivals, the Raiders won the game 24-21 over the “Black N’ Gold.”

Steelers’ wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster scores a touchdown on this catch after a challenge showed that he got two feet in bounds. The Steelers lost to the Raiders 24-21 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, CA on December 9, 2018. (Brian Cook / Golden Sky Media)

PITTSBURGH (GSM) — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left practice with a groin injury this week. He intends on playing against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, despite being listed as questionable.

In head coach Mike Tomlin’s weekly press conference, Brian Cook asked about two young wideouts who could also be worked into the mix this weekend, after their performance on Dec. 16 against the New England Patriots.
