PITTSBURGH (GSM) — They did their part. However, the Steelers needed help to make the playoffs.

After a win in Baltimore against division rival Ravens on Sunday, the Steelers needed either the Chargers or Raiders to win in order to live another day. The Raiders won on the foot of kicker Daniel Carlson with 2-seconds left to play in overtime, 35-32 in Las Vegas. A tie would have pushed the Steelers out of postseason contention.

Steelers fans showed tremendous gratitude to Carlson’s game-winning kick by contributing to charities he supports.

Pittsburgh visits the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night for the first round of the 2021 playoffs.
