MARLON MARTIN (Brother Marlon) contributes to Golden Sky Media as a photographer/reporter and brings over 25 years of experience in the media to our company!

Martin is the host of Morning Inspiration on WAMO 107.3 FM, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the Program Director at Sheridan Gospel Network and host of networks nationally syndicated afternoon show, “The Brother Marlon Show” until the company recently shut down.

He is a husband, father, and ordained Minister. In 2017, he celebrated 25 years in radio. His career began in 1992 on then station WXJX, the college radio station of Washington & Jefferson College. He interned at WAMO in 1994, and his career launched from there.

He was known then as Sean Richards. He hosted a variety of shows including The Breakfast Jam, The Quiet Storm, and Club 106. During the 25 plus, year career the voice has been the same but the mission has changed. The Lord got a hold of Brother Marlon’s life in 1997, thus beginning his radio ministry. He is serious about the things of God and uses his gifts and abilities for the extension of the kingdom of God. His energetic style and sincere heart for God and his people cause many to see the light of Christ in the Earth.

He believes people should strive for the blessing of God which comes through a true relationship with our source and our provider, Jesus Christ. God has called him for such a time as this to be an effective answer in the Earth. His favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 34:1, he believes that should be the attitude of every believer!In 2006, Brother Marlon returned to WAMO to continue his radio ministry. He has served the city of Pittsburgh and beyond through music and inspiration weekly spreading the gospel and the love of Christ on the radio.

As well as traveling to many of the churches throughout the region of Western PA for various events as an emcee, gospel Dee Jay, and preacher. WAMO was sold in 2009, but in2012 Brother Marlon was called back again after Martz Communications started a new era of WAMO in the Pittsburgh area.

In 2014, the Lord enlarged his territory again by opening up an opportunity for Brother Marlon to be heard nationwide with his own syndicated radio show on the Sheridan Gospel Network. Where he shared, “Inspiration, Laughter, and Praise” 7 days a week to the nations, “To God Be the Glory!”Brother Marlon along with his wife own Marlee Communications where they provide a variety of multimedia services including Graphic/Web Design, Photography, Video Production, Audio Production, and Printing.

He is the son of Ercell and the late Douglas Martin. He is married to Ellise Martin. And the father of Marlon, II; Jason; Ephraim; and Caleb Martin.
