PITTSBURGH (GSM) – The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded QB Joshua Dobbs to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fifth-round pick in 2020.

The decision to trade him came just a week after Mason Rudolph was named the backup quarterback behind Ben Roethlisberger on Sept. 2.

The trade comes in the wake of Jaguars’ quarterback Nick Foles’ being placed on injured reserve after suffering a broken clavicle in the opening game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
