PITTSBURGH (GSM) – Wide receiver Diontae Johnson was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Toledo. At 5′ 11″ Johnson ran a 40-yard-dash time of 4.53.
Receivers coach Darryl Drake, excited about the pick, said “[Johnson] can make people miss in open space,” an attribute he says is more important than speed.
